The Pit Knight is a difficult foe to face. His ultimate ability Meltdown slowly degrades your defenses, leaving yourself vulnerable to his allies. Of course, you would be lucky to win a fight inside his searing aura or at long range against his bombardments. The demon is a tricky foe to stop too however, as he hates being bonded and will break them at a moment's notice

Aeons in the past, whilst the Legions of Infernal Wrath dueled against the Divine host, Doom desired a champion to take command in his absence. And so as was his will, from the pits in the abyss a contest was held. After 6 days, only the Pit Knight remained. Doom chained his thoughts to his own, and created a independent, loyal general.

Many angels fell to the Champion, but one day the Archangel and the Seraph took the matter on their own hands and devised a devious trap. Forfeiting their own souls, they tied the Pit Knight into themselves and banished each other from memory, leaving the Knight stuck in a unknown prison.

There he remained, his own thoughts driving himself to insanity and back. Until one day, instead of a cruel, desperate empty silence, he heard whispers from a unknown party.

Suddenly, a crack appeared in the prison, and he desperately trashed in his incorporeal bonds. And then, astonishingly, freedom.

Surrounding him were a diminutive folk. He slaughtered them (He was a demon, after all) and only one escaped with a strange armor on his back. And then he realized something thoroughly wonderful.

By some unknown means, his mind was his own again. Was Doom dead and if so, who was in his place. Surely, this was his opportunity. He would take the reins and wage a war and this time, with his former foes sacrifice, there would be none left to stop him.
