DESCRIPTION & LORE
Description
Ophanim is a second attempt at an angel hero. While I'm happy at how Truthbringer (my first angel hero) ended up, there were definitely some growing pains to get to that point. Ophanim shares some design ideas with Truthbringer that I consider very fitting for angels. Mainly, an overwhelming amount of pure damage. Ophanim is more of a spell caster however. Some of Ophanim's abilities are similar to Truthbringer's.
Angels are also supposed to be a big deal in dota lore. Seemingly even making Terrorblade afraid.
Innate and facet ideas for when this website allows for it:
Innate:
Purity: Ophanim has 30% less attack damage, but his attacks deal pure damage.
Facets:
Uninterrupted scrutiny: Ophanim may cast spells and use items during Judgement without interrupting the channel.
Smite: Enemy heroes who die while under the effect of Ophanim's spells explode, dealing pure damage in a radius around them.
