DESCRIPTION & LORE

Description

Astromancer is a ranged intelligence hero who deals large amount of magical and physical damage from a long range. He has multiple long range slows in his kit, and with a bit of finesse, and long range stun too. Riding atop a Shooting Star, he can fly past enemies while bombarding them with high attack speed and attack range. But beware of his vulnerabilities. He's squishy, extremely weak to roots and stuns, and very slow without his ultimate.

Edit: Slight rework to Light Speed Strike. Now reduces in cooldown per level, but the crit damage is fixed at 200%. This makes a lot more sense in Astromancer's kit, allowing him to land multiple Light Speed Strikes during his ultimate.
Edit: Changed some talents. Removed the magic resistance during Shooting Star talent and replaced it with a duration increase talent. MR during Shooting Star should barely ever matter as Astromancer is either out of ranger of it or the magic damage is combined with a form of crowd control that will immediately end Shooting Star, it it felt too weak. The reduced Shooting Star cooldown talent got replaced with a lifesteal during Shooting Star talent, useful for topping Astromancer off if he managed to activated Shooting Star when at low health, but not as universally powerful as the Parsecs talent, so it should be a real choice between the two. Added the reduced cooldown of Shooting Star as an effect onto the shard. Getting the talent felt kind of mandatory if you got the shard, so combining the effect should be fair, and the shard felt a little weak anyways. Now you have a reason to buy the shard even if you don't want to Star Bomb.

Innate and Facet ideas for when this website allows for it:

Innate:
Relativistic speeds: Astromancer gains increased projectile speed based on his intelligence. This will come with a rework of Light Speed Strike to deal bonus damage based on projectile speed.

Facets:
Void Cloud: Parsecs starts with 2 charges. This is how it currently works and forces Astromancer to pick this talent to increased Parsecs uptime. Best on a core Astromancer who uses Parsecs as his primary DPS tool. Zone duration will be buffed to 8 at all levels to compensate for how weak Parsecs will be without this talent.
Light Speed Comet: If Light Speed Strike is on auto-cast and off cooldown and than Comet is cast the comet impact delay will be set to 0.4 seconds, and the shatter and direct impact radius is increased. This puts Light Speed Strike on cooldown and also consumes the Light Speed Strike mana cost. This facet is useful for a more supportive Astromancer who attacks less.
