Yeva, The Barkwitch is primarily a high sustain, long teamfight excelling offlaner who does more the longer they're allowed to run uncontested. They can push a safelane tower quickly and at little risk with Claws (E) and Orison (W), dealing plenty of magic damage and regenerating almost all damage dealt to them. Plus chasing kills is far easier if they have a point or two in Thorn Whip (Q). Their above average strength gain and health regen from Orison (W) make killing them a hefty task, and mitigating them in Primordial Maul (R) is next to impossible should they pick up a BKB or Lotus.

Although they are a brawly, tanky strength hero, their strong int gain, great utility and disable from Thorn Whip (Q), and the ability to cast Orison (W) on allies instead of themselves (with greater effect) can make them a plenty viable support. They are especially effective when supporting as a pos5 due to their immaculate trading through Claws (E), and that same spell's great kill potential when in combo with high magic damage cores like Juggernaut, Gyrocopter, or Viper.
